ENEX i-LOCK Series H-DiL is the heavy industry Door Mechanical Trapped Key Safety Interlock product range and is suitable for all door closure designs. The H-DiL ‘Patented’ lock portions and keys allow for either dual or single trapped key sequential or standalone operational procedures.
The basic principle of this safety equipment is to lock the Door Closure closed and (where applicable) eliminate access into the Closure until authorised pre-sequence procedures have been completed successfully. For dual key system requirements, only if both rotary keys are inserted and rotated 90°, will the internal locking mechanism be released allowing the H-DiL Actuator to be dis-engaged. For single key system, inserting and rotating the individual key, will release the internal locking mechanism allowing the H-DiL Actuator to be dis-engaged.
Each ‘Patented’ lock portion and rotary key is uniquely coded to allow a truly safe operating sequence procedure. Once the H-DiL Actuator has been dis-engaged, the initially inserted key will be trapped until the Door closure Actuator is re-engaged.
H-DiL product range can be supplied with on/off switches and proximity limit sensors to confirm :
